BluesStringer took a chance and bought one of the first sheaths I had ever made a few years ago, it was a bk4 sheath I had posted on fleabay and he posted a YouTube video of a reveal.

I finally got a hold of him and thanked him for giving me a chance on my craft. I asked him if he wanted a sheath on the house. He sent me a CRKT Plan B and a BK14. This is what I made for him, both are coyote brown pancake sheaths with brown alligator embossed leather on front and back. He also wanted a loop for his flash light.

Thanks BluesStringer!

Admins I wasn't sure where to post this so please move accordingly. Thanks you in advance.

You're the man J.D.!
Those sheaths look sweet man!
What a classy move on your part.
Keep up the good work!

This video was how I first discovered 710. I like your work, JD, and will likely be in touch with you at some point about a couple of builds. Gotta a couple blades in the queue that are ahead of any sheath purchases. ;-)

I told JD when I talked to him yesterday that he was selling himself short by giving me any credit for his success. He's an awesome craftsman which was quite evident even in the low-rez pictures he posted on fleabay for my BK4 sheath. It was immediately confirmed as evident when I opened that package a couple of years ago. There are a bunch of super-talented craftspeople here in Beckerdom, but one thing I've found since being a part of this little corner of the interwebs, is that we always have room, have desire, and actually have need more. Such is the craving for personalization and customization that most of us share. So I made a suggestion to JD that he might find some business here. That's pretty much all I did, and was happy as a pig in mud to do it, and happier still that it borne fruit for the fine young craftsman.

Can't wait to touch, hold, admire and use your work JD. Thanks for everything. You're a giant among men!

Blues
