A thought on the For Sale section.

I think it would be a good idea to mandate that the price of an item is not removed after it is sold. Doing this would be an asset to the user base because it would serve as a value guide when selling knives. I see people post in threads asking what a knife sold for, Ive sent/received PMs on the matter also and now try to leave my prices up but clearly mark the item sold.

Has this been discussed before ?

I always remove pictures and sales price when the item solde. I feel the price is between the seller and buyer.

This has been discussed many, many times. The general concensus is that it remains the sellers decision to leave or edit the price out. While I don't disagree with your suggestion, we don't want to legislate every single transaction that takes place.
