A few months ago a #15 Crown Lifter replaced a Vic huntsman I've carried for years. Last night my old Huntsman was more handy when I was feeling thirsty. I realized that though it's served me well for the same task for years, I've grown to prefer the #15 Crown Lifter over the old Vic in accessing beverages. So that got me thinking about the other traditionals I have with cap lifters, and started wondering what the rest of you have and prefer. So let's see what you got and what you prefer.

You are welcome Robert:thumbup:

Great thread btmcchutceon, I swear I was just thinking the exact same thing no more than twenty minutes ago. I was just handling my Clip point antique yellow bone caplifter and was thinking of all the other knives I have with caplifters:thumbup:

My two that see the most "decapping" are the Radio and my old Ulster scout.

I just used the Ulster about an hour ago to open a Sam Adams Winter Lager . . . . yummie!

I have a couple knives with caplifters, but this one's been my daily go-to since receiving it almost a month ago.

Glad to see that blue beerlow again, Cory! looks like it's getting some good honest use.

Love my beerlows. The screwdriver/caplifter secondary is my favorite secondary on a 2-blade knife.

Just got a crown lifter - peer pressure. Have not had occasion to use it, but sure it will do fine. Saks and scouts have served well.

Here is one I have. It doesn't get used. Love the easy open blade and grip you have on the handle.

WOW! the bone on that is looking really nice!

I've recently started looking for a GEC #15 with a caplifter, but they seem to be sold out. What other knives are out there with a single blade and a caplifter?

I did a Christmas cap-lifter thread a few years back, but it's WAY out of date now. I need to take more pics, but I have mainly being using this of late ;)

If I use a pocket knife to open a bottle, it's almost certain to be a Vic Electrician that I carry every day. But the vast majority of bottles I open are at home, and I typically just grab the old fashioned church key that I have stuck on the refrigerator with a magnet.
