A toast to a very nice man

I tried pretty hard to get somebody's address, I wanted to send him a little gift to show my thanks for his kindness and generosity.
The people I asked did not know, but they too felt a debt of gratitude towards this man and wanted me to give them his address if I ever found out what it was.
Not too many people will go out of their way to try and make a stranger feel better, but this guy has done it many times.
I could not find his address, so I am going to offer this weak little post to try and express my gratitude and to let others join me in doing so.
So, Roger Smith, thank you, thank you and thank you.

Danny,

Dr. Evil says you can always get a hold of him at his e-mail address. thewoodrow@yahoo.com

I can get you his phone number too. He'd love to talk to you personally.

BTW, the thanks is all mine. I've learned a lot from your posts.

"I've learned a lot from your posts."
That makes me so nervous....
Almost makes me want to pay a lawyer to start writing all my posts for me...
Seriously, though, I know Munk and some other guys feel exactly the same way I do.
I wish I could repay all the people who have helped me out over the years. I am trying, but it seems like there's never a way to really return any favor, any kindness.
No matter what I think of, the original gesture outweighs any possible kind of thanks.
I am not saying that I won't keep trying, and I owe others as well.
Please accept this as a kind of "gratitude smoke" thread.
