I was wondering if any of you good folks will be toting a traditional at the dinner table tomorrow?
Do you think about needing to help out in the kitchen or what you'll be using to snaffle your cheese and Christmas cake with?
Personally I shall be away at the in-laws (well girlfriends mothers). I'll have to decide soon....were setting off today....but I think I've nailed it.
The principle turkey carver shall be my Strømeng Sami-kniv....it'll have that wow factor
(plus should I be able to sneak off for some bimble along the beach or woods I was thinking about brewing up a cuppa, it should come in handy).
The folders are my Taramundi or the Thiers.
The Thiers is tried and tested in the kitchen. It's stainless, paper stone handled and open backed, so super easy to clean.
I feel like I'm neglecting the Taramundi a little....so it will have pride of place in my pocket on Boxing Day, with its Ebony handles I'm doing it our way
So anyone else have to forward plan their seasonal sharps?
Whatever you are carrying, I hope you all have a relaxing and rewarding holidays.
All the best
