A traditional german Nicker

Hello,
for a friend in southern germany, here a traditional german Nicker knife as they carry it in the Alps.
10cm blade from 1.2235, soldered ferrule from bronze, sambar stag and a pommel from bronze as well with a lanyard nut.

john april I solder all my guards and bolsters, I like the total seamless joint. No problem with carbon steel and bronze, but till today I had a hard fight with stainless, especially tinning bolsters.... today I tried for the first time stay brite and stainless solders as easy as carbon
