A Trio for Blade Show

Scott forged a trio of knives while assisting at a beginning bladesmithing class in March, and he recently dressed them up for Blade 2013. Meet the Hunger, Shiva, and Fang.

The Hunger
Steel: 5160
Finish: Hammer-marked
Overall Length: 20 inches
Blade Length: 13 inches
Handle: Leopard wood

Shiva
Steel: W2 with hamon
Finish: Hammer-marked and hand-sanded
Overall Length: 13 inches
Blade Length: 7 5/8 inches
Handle: Flame Grain Walnut

Fang
Steel: 5160
Finish: Rustic (Hammer-marked)
Overall Length: 14 inches
Blade Length: 8 1/2 inches
Handle: Hemp wrap

Shiva's lovely, beautiful lines. Fang looks kinda mean, and the Hunger's a beast. Good trio.

That is one big machine. I agree with Scott, it looks like a real wood cutter. Very cool line up, I especially like the smaller fighter.
