The first package was fairly large, and Good things don't only come in small packages!!
I collect (and read!!) books, and this one is a welcome addition to my Library!! And with it, came a wonderful specimen of one of GEC's greatest knives!! With sunk joints, a single spring, great blades, and, back in 2011, the first synthetic handle to turn my eye, this was an astounding gift IMHO!! Thanks Rick!!!Buffalo Book.jpgAnother Tomato 1.jpg
And then this small package turned up (is it Christmas already???) with wee Empire Pen, 2 1/4"!!!Empire metal pen.jpg
A pen blade and a manicure file make this small knife Bigley usable!! 😁 Thanks Tom!!

I've been at the post office twice this week, but no UK mail is going to Canada :eek: Apparently, due to the strike there, mail has piled up to an extent, they've asked other countries to put a stop on it :rolleyes:

Are they actually on strike now?! USPS not shipping to Canada right now, i read.

Yeah, they are. First post office I went to here couldn't give me a reason why there was no mail being accepted, but Charlie filled me in. Feller at the post office yesterday was a bit more forthcoming than the first guy :thumbsup:

Thanks for the heads up on the Buffalo book. I don’t know how I missed that or the documentary!
