My wife, two of our kids, and I took a drive to the Tulip Trestle. Having lived my entire life in Indiana, I decided I needed to see this thing! It was well worth the drive to Greene County. Construction began in 1905. It is approximately 2300 ft. long and 157 ft high at one point. It has 18 support towers. It is the longest bridge of this type in the U.S. and the 3rd longest in the world. If you are ever near Bloomington take a drive to see it.
