So I "solved" the Yahoo Mail problem by switching to Gmail. I can get used to its excentricities.

Switching to FireFox didn't help as the problem is not browser related.

THEN I found I could not reach 75% of my 1000's of pictures saved in "Pictures" within "Documents" - the ones saved with "Save Picture" and now all shown as FireFox items.

And late yesterday, I could not reach eBay to pay for an item - or Paypal for that matter. Same this AM.

So off the FireFox live chat where zzxc had me delete all Norton products. Wonderful! I can pay the guy for the knife.

Awful! Now I can't reach ANY of my saved pictures and can no longer save pictures either with Save Picture or screen shots (alt+pant screen etc.)

Did a Google and found that Fire Fox has a long history of "issues" with other software.

Why can't they all just get along? :o

Tom would it do any good to do a System Restore or have you already done so and it didn't work?

One more call to FireFox chat, and I'll have no choice.

The chat guy at Mozilla said to clear cache and cookies and remove Norton security software. I did.

NOW ALL my pictures are inaccessable ("This shortcut no longer refers to a valid website or file (2)". I can't even get the Microsoft Sample Pictures to open.

I can't take a Screen Shot and open it up seconds later.

The Mozilla forum company guy (15,000+ posts) suggested that I load four other programs. No way.

You no doubt already know but if you're running a Microsoft OS all a, "System Restore" does is return your PC to an earlier date thereby "Restoring" all your files, pics, docs, and so forth.
I've done several, "System Restores" that has saved my arse because of something I screwed up with no problems whatsoever. :D

Or you could go to Tech Support Guys and ask in the proper forum, only trouble with that is it sometimes takes them several days to get back to you because they're so busy helping folks.

Thus endeth my brief experiment with the wonderful world of FireFox.

Did a Restore.

Now I can access my pictures. :)

Still can't get yahoo attachments, but I've moved on to Gmail.

All is well with the world.

That is strange, indeed. I've been using FF for some time now with no problems.
But, I'm glad you got yours straightened out.

Progress at last! ;)

Tom I'm reasonably sure you've already done so but still wondering if you have checked out all of the options that are in the Yahoo email website? I know I've had way too much trouble finding some of them and then getting them tweaked the way I want them in the past and I'm pretty damned sure I will again. :(
I suppose Gmail is alright if there's no other choice but there was way too much I disliked about Gmail to make it my primary email.:grumpy:

All is well with the world.

Tom, don't try to Bulls**t an old Bulls**ter, cause it just won't work! <VBESEG> :p  ;) :D
I do hope you get everything all worked out sooner rather than later!

Well, I liked files better than labels. And I haven't figured out how to forward Gmails. Contentment is relative. Didn't have email nine years ago.

Are you talking about forwarding an individual email to another individual or bouncing all emails to another address? If the answer is individual, at the bottom of each email there are boxes, [Reply] [Forward] I am not sure about the bouncing of all emails to another address.
My son could probably answer the other question and is on the forum. ByronTodd.
Send him a PM
