Don is part of the US Cutlers which Sam likes the work. "He can do everything : Fighter, Chopper, Folder...."

Sam presented him with a drawing, Don loved him and he realized his knife

.. A nice story for a very nice knife...

"Merci" Mark, just mine for the photography session...

Sam drew it for him...

I would never have pegged this piece as a Hanson, except for the Damascus.
Nice

Unique Hanson, indeed! Looks comfortable to hold. Is that correct. Jon?

I like the "textures", how the wide pattern on the blade transitions to the tight pattern of the guard, to the polished band, to the stag. I also like the "shoulder" on the blade with it's forward leaning angle. The more I look at this knife the more I like it

Uh Oh!!

And thats how knives are born folks!!

You know what they say, "what happens at the forge stays at the forge"!

Very Nice photo, Norbert!

I rarely make a knife that's not my own design, but when Sam asked (with help from Joe-Canineforge), I just couldn't say no. Plus, it is a Great Design!

Norbert thank you for sharing that. Such a wonderfully compact package of materials, artistry and style.

Beautiful, Don--as usual.
