A Very Eventful Christmas

Well Good Gentlemen, this was a very good Christmas.

I gave away several of my knives to family and friends. One is going overseas to Iraq with my best buddy with the 744th Transportation Company.

My Love got me two bladesmithing books and membership in the ABS.

I got My Love a Leatherworking Set and Leather Stitching Set as she's very intent on making custom sheaths!

But most importantly, I proposed to My Love on Christmas Eve in front of my father and his wife and her mother. She now sports a three diamond platinum ring; one diamond for me and one for each of my kids.

Now get this... she wants Damascus or Mokume Gake wedding bands as the Damascus knives she saw on this forum are, in her words, "too cool".

I am a very lucky man!

More info to come, pending my wedding planner (my 5 year old).

Don't know if youwant her to see this, but search the forum, somewhere in here there's a beautiful anodized Timascus(Titanium damascus) men's wedding ring in orange and bblue. Don't have it bookmarked here, but have picture saved at home.
 
Congrats! I myself are getting married in may and have been looking for mokume-gane wedding bands. There are a couple of sites that sell them but they are expensive. These are made of 14k palladium, 14k white gold and sterling silver. They also have them in 14kwhiteand 14k yellow. Check out www.mokume.com
