I recieved my Buck Paklite Skinner the other day and I have to say for the 15 dollars I spent, I like it almost as much as my RAT knives. Sure it's only 420HC, but it's made in the US and has curves in all the right places. Fits my hands well, came nice and sharp from the factory and it doesn't add much weight to the kit. For those looking for a cheap alternative to the Izula, this is a damned fine knife. Very clean, nice Buck logo, I think this knife is definately a daimond in the ruff.

Payette,

Yep, I agree. I have had one for a while, they are decent blades for sure!

It's another of those things that I like, and is on my "get one later" list. Nice little knife.

Here's a pic, we'll overlook this breach of posting etiquette this time Mr. Rucker ;)

I've been thinking about getting one of those since somebody else brought it up a while back. I want one just because it is stainless, but I do like the looks, origin, and price as well. Now that I know how to get a kydex sheath made for it I'll be picking one up, the sheath was the only thing thing that put me off before.

The diamond back guides, I think are no longer in production, but they were a nice little blade for the price.

I recently converted one of the capers into a full-flat zero grind as the knife I'm going to cut my son's umbilical cord with. It ended up as sharp as any of my straight razors and it's sterilized and with the midwives at the hospital now waiting for the day. Any week now. :D

Great knives, both of them.

I just got a Paclite skinner and I agree it is a neat little knife. It is very sharp and fits my hand well. I think it is definitely worth the money.

I got a Paklite Caper after Christmas. I use it for squirrel skinning and it peformed great in that role. I will probably cord wrap it and try it to field dress deer with it this year. Great knives around $15!
