A couple of weeks ago a BFC regular asked for my address. He said he wanted to send me something. I received the package and since it was so close to Christmas and the package was wrapped in Christmas paper, I was able to somehow find the will power to not open it until today. Of course I figured it was a knife but I never expected anything like this. A new mammoth ivory William Henry. My pictures don't come close to showing the color of the ivory.

The knife was from Doug C. Thank you, Doug. I fell honored to be given such a gift.

Suffice it to say, I think Rob is one of the most generous knifenuts around here.
A long while back I meant to send him some kind of recompense for a couple of things he had sent me,completely out of the blue, I can't tell you how surprised I was by this kindness.
Time goes by and I never get anything shipped, Christmas finally starts to roll around this year.
