A couple of weeks ago, Will messaged me out of the blue. He said he knew of my love for peanuts and smaller knives and that he'd like to send me a knife. Of course, I quickly accepted his kind offer! Fast forward to today. I checked my mail and saw a curious package from Finland. Lo and behold, it was Will's knife! I became quite ecstatic and couldn't wait to open it. He also included what I'm guessing is a Finnish coin and a postcard from the city where he lives (now pinned on my refrigerator to exacerbate my dreams of moving to Scandinavia!). He sent me a lovely Case walnut stockman! It's an equal end stockman with fancy bolsters and an easy open notch for the spey blade. The clip blade has a very nice swedge, as well. I love it! It's gorgeous! A very nice stockman, indeed. This is my first equal end stockman and my first of the walnut series. It's smaller than my other Case medium stockman knives. It's about the same size as the Buck 303 I had in my pocket this morning. But this new Case feels so much better in the hand than any other stockman I own. Thank you so very much, Will, for this wonderful gift! I will treasure it always. I love a small-ish medium stockman about as well as I love peanuts and canoes. And, I'm quite partial to Case knives. This knife will definitely see lots of pocket carry. It's in my pocket now. A thousand thanks to you, Will! [emoji4]
