I got 5 new Kershaws Friday. A good friend that lives a few states away came down to visit and brought me 2 Leeks, a Scallion, a Storm II and a tanto Blur. He also gave my son a Scallion. Then we spent the day shopping for knives and gun stuff. For a married guy, it just doesn't get much better!

Five of them in one day?!

What did you do, pull him out of a burning truck a few years ago?!

Does he need another friend?:D

flip....Great haul......I was married for ten years , divoiced for 7 ....my knife collection has grown ten fold in the last seven......

Yeah, 'wives' may rhyme with 'knives', but that's about as close as those two will ever get. My two hobbies (blades and computers) just cause the missus to shake her head.

Looks like a Scallion is bound for my collection....

Happiness is a new knife.

Now, a free knife, that is called rapture.

Five free knives? I think you should have married that "good friend".

Love when the mail lady stops by with a new knife. Hard to explain but as Hair put it, any knife I get is Rapture. Don't mean to sound sexist but I don't think women experience these same kind of feeling with knives...shoes maybe...dresses maybe but not knives. :)

congratulations, if that guy is ever in a burning truck you had better pull him out or better yet call me. later, ahgar
it was a very good day.

In general, I do agree.

BUT

The Knife Collector is a women, and from what I can tell from her posts, she loves knives as much as anyone possibly can.

That's an excellent haul. I've looked pretty hard at about each one of those. Bought a Leek. That tanto Blur and Storm II are wicked knives.

It got even better. After George left, he sent my son a message that he left him another box in the kitchen. It contained a Storm II. I might should change the title to a good knife month. Last week, I got a CRKT carbon fiber M16. I had been trying to find that particular model for about 6 months. I now have 5 variations of Carbon Fiber M16's. Today, the mailman dropped off a box with a titanium CRKT M16-01T. I LOVE KNIVES!
