Just completed this piece for a client and sent it off to Coop for a proper photo. The blade is 10 1/2" of low layer random damascus and OAL is 13 1/2".The handle is black bear lower jaw with a carved, sculpted, and heat colored wrought iron guard. The guard is arrowhead shaped with a feather on the end, and this particular guard style was a request by the client, as he had seen it on a previous bowie of mine! Thanks for the great photo Coop and as always, thanks for looking!!

Love those jaw handle knives. Very cool.

John... just go into your other thread to "edit" remove the content and change the title.

Just an amazing blade. So much happening there. The jaw handle is "Jaw Dropping! " Can't wait to see Coops photos.

John, I'm not a huge fan of the rustic style knives in general, but I open every one of your posts to see what you've come up with. You do this very well.:cool:

That is spectacular! Soooo much character, texture, and detail.

As Willie said above^^^, you do this very well.

John's work is an acquired taste, like so many of the greats. It's a vision and technique uncommonly crafted.

I have to spend ten minutes or so just moving things around to get a feel for what looks 'natural'. There is SO much to display, and it all needs to be seen.

My Instagram BLOWS UP when I post his work. He's captured the attention of the masses. ;)

Thanks, John!

Thanks guys and thank you Jim, your talents make us all look good and are always a pleasure to view!
