My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and an ESEE Knife will be getting a loving home but I cant deside between the six and five the only thing that is making me worry is the bow drill divot I can put one on the six but that isnt the problem I would like to know how the micarta holds up so if anyone would like to spend their valuable time and post some pics of themselves using it it would be much appreciated

Or think of it this way a knife is going to have a good owner isnt that great LOL:p

If you're only concerned about the bow drill divot, give tonym a shout. He used his for a head piece and it burnt (appearance, anyway) the divot pretty good. He posted a picture of it awhile back, but I don't know how to find it.

A divot in the scales is a good idea if it doesn't damage the scales, but I don't like what it does in micarta. Of course, in a survival situation..........
