I saw many great kukris, but this piece with a pierced blade was especially remarkable. The workmanship throughout was unbelievable and it was reflected in its strength, weight and balance.

Wow! How do you make something like that without machine tools? Amazing work by someone with tremendous talent.

Wow! what a lovely piece! Thanks for sharing!

Interesting bolster & rear bottle opener style cho as well!
Is that a serial number on the grip?

Spiral

None are later than 1815/1816 when they were picked up during the Anglo-Gurkha War

The cho isn't any different. It only appears to have a 'hook' because of the lighting and poor photography. None are marked.

What are the pouch appearing objects beside the scababrds? They look really large for the average tinder pouches we're used to seeing.

That is one beautiful khukuri though!!!!

YVSA, those are the accompanying 'goji' for the 2 knives they are next to. The kukri on the left had no indication of any scabbards or pouch ever being there. I was surprised to see other early kothimora hanshees without any of the usual pouches, scabbards and kardas.
