Just dug it out for some pics and some pocket time, a vintage Terzuola/Spyderco C15, my favorite work knife. Think I should send it in for a refurb?

Great knife. I'm jealous! Were it mine, I would not send it in, which increased the risk of loss, etc. I'd just touch it up on a Sharpmaker and give the pivot a drop of oil. Boom.

Great provenance. Just keep using it. Spyderco's have become collectible, but they were made to be used. I have an extensive collection but none are above putting in my pocket or thrown in the backpack for doing what knives do.

Thanx for the memory trip. Actually the wear on the edges is attractive. Might use that on a future design.

You may get a chance to see it Sal, I got a friend out your way who said he'd be glad to bring it in for a visit. ;)

One of my early Spydercos. I bought one, only used it a couple times and it's been in the drawer ever since. Mines a plain edge. Great collaboration.

Of all the collaborations the first is my favorite followed by the Viele and the Centofante collabs.

Always wanted to see an update on these. Titanium slabs and a more recent blade steel. It is a home run design!

Very cool. I like it.

Of course, most of Terzuola's designs I like.

Thanks for posting this one.

Awesome knife Ted!!! Olders ones like that don't show up too often.

I would leave it as it is - it has a wonderful patina that only comes from years of use.

I agree with Mr. Glesser, the edges worn silver like that are a very nice accent - would be a good treatment on a future knife.

I might have it tuned up mechanically but I would not touch the worn scales or hardware! Looks great!

wow,i just love the old spyderco's,as others have said! clean/oil it,stick it back in the dresser!

Worn silver edges on a future design might look nice if done modestly... but it seems to be a fine line to walk the faux patina look for production. At least just my opinion. Like buying new jeans that are already torn and ripped, it's like buying a fake story. :p

I'll have to get out my old Terzuola and snap some shots. Unfortunately it has quite a bit of blade play when opened now, so it just sits in a drawer.
