Not all of these are new to me, but a couple are recent additions. I've been stalling - hoping to add a BK1, and replace my BK7 (which I gave away a few years ago) - but it's time to get on with things.

I'll be posting in the family thread soon - I've got a few that I pulled the scales off & never got them back on....and I've got to fgure out where/how to stage it.

These will probably staying clean, since I don't have a reason to use any of them (though I am sort of tempted by the BK6).

The Brute, if I ever get it, will likely wear the same micarta as the 6...though I've been thinking that black canvas might be a good alternative. I've got one set of official Becker micarta waiting for the 7, when I find one I can snag at a reasonable price.


Here's something - aside from the 6, there is another knife in the photo that is not wearing the standard micarta. It's a little more obvious in person, than in the picture....anybody want to take a stab at it (there are only 4 choices)

I was gonna say, keep them babies pristine if you can. Becker from days past won't around in quantity much longer......

(and yes, around here juniper trees are considered weeds)

there is a camillus bk1 on ebay right now.
 
Aaaaaand, just like that, I have a Camillus BK7 inbound. I knew I should have waited for the picture, lol.

Nobody wants to say which one has different micarta? I would think that it could be really narrowed down to two choices from the picture.
 
Yup. The color difference isn't as obvious in the picture - at least not on my computer - but the only other guess that I could see would have been the 5 (because it shows more patterning).
The maker was out of the maroon micarta, or I probably would have grabbed another set for the Brute (that I don't have).
