A visit to Randall Knives

I just returned from a weeks vacation in Orlando, and we did the disney/universal studios/coco beach thing, and finally the last day I remembered that Randall Knives was located in Orlando. It was the best part of the vacation(for me). There several thousand knives on display as well as a few for immediate sale,no wait!and they sell them at catalog prices.I picked up a model 5.it is a beautiful knife.I would like to reccomend to everyone that is vacationing in the area to make time for a trip to the shop it was well worth it.

No one should ever have to pay more than catalog prices for a Randall. The dealers get a discount, so that they can sell them at catalog prices and still make a profit. Beyond that, you have to take in the greed factor and the law of supply and demand.

Danbo, no one should have to pay more than retail, but when there is a 2 year wait from the shop, some people will pay a little more to get it now. Supply has to be factored into the equation.

matt, I attended a convention in Orlando a couple of years ago and also found my way to the Randall Shop. It was nothing like my expectations. Very humble, but everyone was very helpful. I took a taxi there with my luggage as I was flying out that day. I stacked my bags in the corner and proceeded to spend three hours in the museum, eyeing all the classic and historical blades. I ended up buying a couple of knives, threw them in my checked luggage, and called a taxi for the airport. Gary Randall and crew were very nice and understood the need to just be there.
