A walk in the woods.

My girlfriend and me decided to have a walk in the nearby woods. Offcourse for me a reason to bring a nice thick piece of INFI with me. We walked for about 3 hours then had a drink and walked back for another hour to the car. In the meantime I snapped some shots of that thick INFI goodness. It's a heavy chunk of steel and it chops great. It might actually defeat my SFNO's as number 1 user. The g10 mag handles feel very nice. In the beginning I didn't like them because they where just a little too thick for my hands. But they grow on me.
I've used it to chop some trees and branches and it did very well. Much better then the SFNO offcourse. In the meantime when I was resting my girlfriend took the HOFSH and started to chop some wood:confused: She likes the SFNO more because this INFI is too heavy for her. I guess she ownes now the outlaws:grumpy:
Soon I'm going to test it in the field and build some shelters with it.
Now the only thing I need is a nice leather sheath and then I'm good to go. I love the HOFSH!

You guys probably think... "hey dude, you're boring so shut up and let's see some pics" .....

Enjoy!!

Now it's time to clean the INFI:D

Hey Jur,

Congrats with your HOGFSH. Those are very nice pics of an even nicer knife.
We should go out chopping some time soon again. I sure want to see that piece of INFI in person:thumbup::D

Never boring, Jur! Thanks for the pics and commentary.

If your girl gets all the Outlaws, your gonna need more HOFSHs.

Great Pics Jur! I really enjoyed Holland when I was there back in June 77.
Can't wait until I get my HOGFSH back. I'm having Kenny Rowe make me a Quad Position sheath right now for it. I for one LOVE the Super Mags and wish Jerry would make that an grip option for the larger knives.

Good job Jur! Looks like you were starting to clear cut the forest there!

Nic pic Jur!

I should have done something like that rather than ride my bike with a bunch of 25-year-olds. My legs wouldn't hurt so much now.:grumpy:

.

That is my dream knife right there! That or the HHFSH..great pics, the woods looked like a horror movie or something.

Awesome pics JurT! Thanks for posting them. I really like the custom shop HOGFSH with black and od scales.

shigawire4sur: Those are the daypacks of a Berghaus Vulcan backpack. I like those daypacks but I would like to have some more space in that size of a pack. At the moment I'm looking for a few packs, like Camelback and Kifaru.

Gerberblades: Thanks. I use all of my blades even the custom shop models. INFI is made to use not to collect:p:D

Crafft: Indeed we have to gather again and chop some wood.

Greg45: I definitly need more HOFSH's!

RussMo: Thanks. When the Rowe sheath arrives I would love to see some pics of it.

Gunknifenut: I chopped all those trees down.... uuhhhhh just kidding. Past month there where some storms overhere and I think that might be the reason why it looked like a horror movie:D

Prusik: I can tell you for sure IRL the HOFSH and the OD/Black scales look even nicer.

Everyone else thank you for the nice comments:thumbup:

Thanks for the pics Jur, look foward to some more shelter pics also:thumbup:

That may be what I consider a perfect "big knife". Unfortunately I am uninitiated in the world of INFI, and am wondering if it would be too much trouble to learn what HOFSH stands for? I recently bought my first fixed blade (a RC-3) and am eager to jump head first into this new territory by supporting Mr. Busse's drinking habits with American dollars and would like to gather all the intel possible to hunt this gem down.
