I took my BK9 for a walk around the property (mind you it’s not quite an acre) looking at the work I have coming this spring. For those under tons of snow; ‘twas a beautiful day:cool:, with temps in the mid 40sF, but yet, ice in the birdbath. I had the 9 with me to cut and trim some potential walking staffs.

Good looking blade man.

Gonna' be 60 and suuny here this week end (yeah)

Preasure washing the deck :grumpy: - But there's gotta' be a use for a kinfe on the job ... just gotta' ! lol

ah, sunny, palest blue skies, 14 feet+ snowbanks :) the local groundhog probably said screw it :>

Just curious, does the nine have the grind marks (typical of the 2's) visible after you strip it? I don't see them in the pics.

thanks

Randy, if you mean the ones perpendicular to the edge? yes it has them. after the chemical stripper, I used an orbital?vib sander w/ 320, 400 and 600 'til those lines were about all that remained, and quit. The lines are so even, they do not bother me, in fact I like the look.

the 9 looks good stripped too...hmm. what is that green stuff under the chair? :p

I think I am starting to favor the stripped over the coated now. Nothing but good looks when stripped.

Man is your grass that green this time of year?!?! I live in Idaho and my lawn looks like the aftermath of a great agent orange spillage.
Cheers
Balding
