Hadn't intended to post another Warenski so soon after that last post, but this one I have had around for awhile and just hadn't yet turned to the "master" for imaging. Had actually thought about moving it out of my collection.

But with this image that Coop just sent me, I can't ever imagine it departing now. Hope you like it. NOTE: Any shadowing at the tang/guard is just that. This baby is just immaculate.

Only about 50 hunters were made in the maker's last ten years, so I feel privileged to have this one.

Kevin - It was delivered in an autographed Bill's zipper case, by the maker, on Nov 10, 1998. I have the original case, signed and dated and very glad to have it.

Bob,

That's a beautiful knife. Coop did a great job showing it.

You are right, that is a masterful pic --- very bright and "clean" feeling.

Thanks for sharing it.

I'll give credit to Bob for the format. He sent me a table shot of the knife and that great polished reflection and asked if I could incorporate this into the image. Up to me. Ok..!

Yes, it took some work to figure out the correct lighting angles, and the oval inset was the only plausible way to display this.

I really like the shot, and I'm pleased for Bob's help and good fortune!

Thanks.

Coop

Thats a nice knife.

Its funny you mentioned not wanting to sell it now. I have had knives that I liked a whole lot more after they got photographed. I've noticed that some knives are more photogenic then others and in my head the ones that are end up being more desirable to me. Its funny how these things work.

Jonathan - it almost seems paradoxical what you are saying about the impact of certain images, but what you were saying is exactily the way I feel about this image and this knife.

Hello Bob,

I love small fixed-blade knives and this one IS exquisite!
beautiful proportions and amazing design lines!

Julie's engraving, always tastefully created to flow with
the knife's design, adds so much to the overall package
making it a true gem of a knife!

Will I see you at the AKI?

All the best,
David

Exquisite knife and classic Julie Warenski engraving with the gold dot border and basket weave.

I couldn't imagine parting with that either!

Pleasure seeing it.

Thanks,
Peter

I was starting to write something like this when I read your post. I couldn't agree more.
