Went out to my shooting range and man cave to blow off a little steam on Sunday. This is one of my favorite spots. Deep in the woods, no one ever around. I come here to shoot, have fires, and just relax. No trails in the area so no other people.

I always look forward to your photos

This post is no exception

Thanks for posting

Saucha looks GREAT

10 or 12in blade on that khukuri?

Nice dog, siberian cross or all malamute? She looks like my buddies 3/4siberian 1/4timberwolf, that dog is a coyote killer. One seriously alpha female, his male dobie lives in constant fear and awe, he can't even look at her food dish without a whuppin.

That's a 15" Khukri

She is a pure long haired Siberian Husky. About twice as much and twice as long hair as a normal husky.

Man I'm itching to get out and play with my 15" BDC kuk. This thread makes it worse. I blame you. ;)

Wow great pics man, I love um lol. your dog is a beauty.
It looks like a great place to go to for some woods time.

I love the look of that area. Maybe it is just the snow..

Good looking dog, too. I've always liked Siberian Huskies. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Great pics as always buddy, wish I was close enough to join ya round that fire and chew the fat a little !

That Yellow Birch bark looks impressive stuff !

Thanks Pit, I was out your way in Vancouver about two years ago on a 4 week cross country drive just the dog and I. I used to live in Oregon so I know all about the terrible rain you have been having, been there done that :) Hang in there bud.

That dog looks like he would be warm with or without a fire ;)

nice pics! i'm jealous of that snow. is this what you call yellow birch? it's pretty much the only type of birch i've seen in the areas i frequently hike. i've also read someone call it river birch. i always see what you call regular birch on youtube vids but never seen one in person yet.

^ from the picture that looks like yellow birch hard to tell though without it in my hand. Rip off a thick chunk and see if the underside is a goldish yellow color that will tell you for sure
