I was cruisein' around over on the old rec:knives usenet(?) website that's now hosted by Google and I found this website in one of the posts.
It covers the protection and preservation of many different kinds of materials and probably answers some questions that we all here have had or will have from time to time.
I just wanted to share it with my friends and family here.:cool: :)

Good link :)

Who would know better on how to take care of stuff than the people who work in a museum.

:mad: huh? Anybody ever tell you that old age and treachery always overcomes youth and skill?:p
You might want to take that under consideration seeing as how many old phartz hang out in the Cantina,:p :rolleyes: ;) before you start getting :mad: before you even check a place out.:p :D

hehehehehehehehe.

Bruise that's kinda what I thought. :>)
There's information there I sure didn't know. :-}

It's hard to tell how old a person is on the forums. With only an avatar to go by it's difficult. Unless they're really young and liberal use of slang and creative spelling clue you in. I thought Uncle Bill was a middle aged guy until I saw the pics. :D

The problem with the pix is I didn't have enough Heineken when they were taken. The more I drink the younger and more handsome I become -- and smarter, too! But, sadly, it takes 15 or 20 bottles to achieve the desired results.

As one old phart to another - EVERY TIME!

Thanks for the link Bro. Love that schtuff.

Uncle - think ginseng, and more ginseng. Lots of eggs too, lots of eggs with beans. Especially right before bed. You will never be at a loss for words to put a young-un in their place, quickly and with
authority.

You might lose some upper arm strength from not doing so many "lifts", but I sincerely believe that ginseng beats Heineken in the "forever young" department.

Uncle Bill -- 6AM. No coffee, no Heineken.
