I just spent the last week at Ed's. We went though making liner lock folders. I can say we had a lot of fun, as we always do. Hammer and Boomer were a great help and entertainment. Here is a couple pics of results.

Real nice folders Bruce. Looks like you learned allot over there. Can we see more in the future?

Fine looking pair of folders....

Looks like you were a real good student. ;)

It was absolutely a pleasure to have Bing in the shop for a week. He made my job as a teacher very easy....and since we spend so much time alone in our shops, we often forget just how nice it is to have a friend there with you.

Bing picked up on the concepts and techniques right away, and even had to tell me to back off a couple of times when I was hovering too closely. :)

Look for some fantastic folders to come out of Bing's shop in the future!

Very nice Bing...hard to not have a good time at Ed's, having half an Aussie cattle dog running around helps!!
Cheers one of the other BBs

Good looking pair of folders, Bruce. You sure picked a great guy to learn from.

Thanks everyone,
My son & son in-law have badgered me for 2 years to make them each a folder. Guess what I already have their Christmas knives for this year.:D I had been talking to Ed back and forth about doing a folder class. Finally last fall we firmed up the date to do it. What an experience.

I made the trip home from Ed's yesterday. 10 1/2 hour drive. Sorry for not posting up last nite just was to tired to think straight.

Hey Bing. Nice folders. Glad to see you are doing well. Ed is a great guy - I'll have to get out there for a visit sometime. Keep it coming.
