I spent the weekend camping with my sons, my dogs and my Beckers. Here are a few pics:

Another shot of the Beckers and my hammock in the background. I tried hammock camping for the first time and let the kids stay in the tent. I may just go all in on hammocks and do away with the tent all together.-

My new Jetboil. I should have bought one of these a long time ago. Made oatmeal, soup, hot chocolate, omelets, and this dehydrated rice and chicken. It was all awesome and fast.-

A great time was had by all. We will probably go back up again later this week. This is about a 20 minute ride up the canyon from our house.
 
Beautiful place to be this time of year. And to be able to spend time with your boys, it doesn't get much better than that.

It is pretty, but was still hot over the weekend. We were camped at around 8,000 ft and it was in the low 90s during the day, but got down to the 50s at night. As soon as the sun went down it started getting chilly. This is very close to our house so we camp here fairly often. This was about the hottest I have seen it up there. We are probably going to head back up there tomorrow and it is supposed to be be cooling down.
 
Awesome! What a great thing - time with the kids camping! Some of my best memories are of camping with my son in the great outdoors. Sounds like a great time. Beautiful pics too
