It has been a while since I last enjoyed some outdoor camping trip since ending my military career 3 years back.

Brought my trusty BK9 out while i take this chance to check my emergency standby inventory and put some stuffs thru some field testing.

Basically just enjoy and have some fun while taking a break from the urban jungle buzz.

Lets get the shelter done first before proceeding to anything else. in case the rain drops by.

Found a stack of logs but they were still kinda long so we cut them down and split it for tinder too

Very nice pic's...Thanks for Sharin!
Snowin here in Southern Illinois today..supposed to get 1-3".

Over here in the tropics is like summer all year round with monsoon season during some part of the year. We accidentally chose a spot with the best view of the sunset. Will be making more regular trips there with my local survivalist and knives user groups. There we will get to test our equipments and practice some survival skills that have gotten rusty over the years.

There are quite a few Becker users in the group too thou this trip only 2 of us as it was planned kinda last minute. Most of us have some of the 2, 9, 14, 16 and 24.

Very nice indeed! Makes me all jealous n stuff....

Glad u had a good weekend! Thanks for the pics also.

there are limited camping site and options available here. this island is one of the best around and i years in the military made me hates the mozzi and worst of all, sandflies. at this island, there are not much around which just sweeten the experience even more.

thanks for the feedbacks, we really enjoyed the weekend and soon will have our family join us there for more. perhaps teach the younger fellow more about bushcraft and stuffs.
