I received a Salt 1 on Saturday in the mail so far has gone through the ff:
1) Immediately placed it in my pocket and did some yardwork consisting of cutting weeds and branches and even trying to pry open a stuck sprinkler head. After much prying the head didn't pop out but nothing happened to the blade either.
2) Jumped into the pool with the blade and swam for over and hour.
So far this thing has stood those tests. Man what a knife. I love that after reading all the posts I don't have to worry about it and if something ever did happen which I doubt it will, it's easily replaceable.
The other thing I did out of curiosity was add the wave ghetto. I love that feature that you can pull it out of your pocket already open. Everything about this knife is perfect even the size. The only thing I would adjust if I could is the clip to try to get the knife to sit lower in the pocket. Has anyone tried to modify the clip like the other ones that sits lower?
