I wanted to share some pics of a knife I made for my grandson.
I used many of the tips that Nick Wheeler was kind enough to post the last few months.
I think its my best work yet.

Thanks Nick.

Really nice work Greg - crisp lines, clean fit and finish and gorgeous wood. What kind of wood is that?

Thanks for the comments.

Beautiful work! You've built a family heirloom right there. Long after you're dead that knife will remain as a reminder of you and your legacy.

Really nice work Greg. I hope to see it in person this weekend. Good job and your grandson will be thrilled.

very nice! and truly special because it will go to your grandson! you should be proud of that one!!

I was able to see and handle this knife in person today when Greg came by the shop. He is right the pictures do not do it justice. Very nice package and beautiful wood. Nice work and yes his grandson is thrilled.
Oh, the reason Greg came by the shop was to take his JS performance test. He passed with flying colors. Great bend, and he used 1084. He did a really good job. So congratulations Greg, well done.
