It had fortunately stopped snowing by the time I got up this morning, and the snow was melting into a thick slushy carpet everywhere, deep enough to get into my tennis shoes.

This afternoon, it had all melted, so there are pools of cold water everywhere on the camp. I'm going to be on a detail tonight from 2230 to 0700 tonight to keep two Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders from being bothered.

Well, the duty itself won't be bad, but working 9 hrs after a full day's (0800-1800) work does suck a little. Then, I'll be on another detail at 1300 tomorrow.

Hm...in perspective, though, today was the day I was originally scheduled to go down range deep into Tali territory to get shot at, so I guess it's not so bad, after all!
