A Winning Combination is:

For those of you who know that my wife is from the Philippines, then you may know that I think a winning combination, is a Filipino Woman and an American Man. But now I think we may have found another winning combination. I had a Batangas made knife, that for me, was really a problem knife. While it had a lot of potential, it needed a lot of work to bring out it's best. I sent it out to a member of this forum who makes copper jewlery for a living. What I got back, was a knife that would look right at home in any store's jewlery case. Perhaps it's a winning combination, to take the Filipino Craftmanship, and combine it together with American Know How, to really bring out the full potential of a Balisong Knife. What do you all think? I know my scanner photo leaves a lot to be desired, but you can take a look at the before and after photo and tell me if American Craftsmanship and Filipino Workmanship do not make for a winning combination. Thanks, JohnR7 www.BalisongKnife.com <img src=http://home.neo.rr.com/johnr7/winner.jpg>

Is the before on bottom? I like the look of the one on top more. Plus there's weird stuff on the blade of the bottom

The bottom pic is the "before" picture. You're right John, the scan really doesn't do you justice. Glad that you were pleased though.

Wouldn't say "alittle" or "alot"! Lets just say having the right tools to do the job! John is the All Star here...he is the one who gets us these beautiful knives!

Kind regards,
