I've never been much for "tooting" my own horn, but I was very honored to recently have been inducted into the Montana Circle of American Masters. I feel a little odd posting this kind of thread, but I'm very excited about bringing our craft to a wider audience, and just had to let everyone know. Over the weekend I added another page to my website, chronicling the experience. You can see it here. There is a short explanation on the web page, as well as a link for more information on the Montana Circle of American Masters.

Big well deserved honor for you and I'm glad that knifemakers are being recognized as masters by people other than knifenuts.

Good on ya

Toot!! Toot!! well done Ed. I'm sure all your friends and family both in and out of the knife community wish you well and are enjoying the award with you. You do great knives and represent the custom knives in the highest order. Glad you kept us up to date. Congratulations!!

Congratulations Ed!!!!!

I can appreciate you feeling a little funny posting it, but I'm sure glad you did. This is great to hear just as your friend, and like Will said, it's very nice to hear about other folks recognizing the skill of a knifemaker!!!

Good on 'ya Ed! :D

Congratulations Ed!
And thanks for sharing with us.:thumbup:
