Yesterday my wife went out to get the mail and came back in saying I had a package and asked me what I bought now. I didn't buy anything I told her. I saw a familiar address on the label. A certain someone here whose name starts with the letter....Ron. :D What a surprise inside. A nice card from not just Ron, but some other forum greats. Ron, Paul, Duncan, Barrett, Jack, Gary, Brett, and Randy. Whew! What a lineup! A nice pick-me-up card to brighten my day. I've been having some difficulties related to my surgery and the last several days have been tough, so my time on here has been a little limited. This was just what I needed to boost my spirits though. Some wonderful friends here. I honestly couldn't ask for or find a better group than many of the folks here.

Oh, there was a little something extra in the box.

You guys are way, way too kind to me. I may have to place a moratorium on knives being gifted to me. :D You've all done way too much already.
Thank you all fellas, I love you all. The Drover is fantastic and replaces the one I had to sell a little while ago. So nice. :D

That's cool. Good vibes here on the Porch!

Bob your wife sounds like mine anytime a box shows up she says the same thing "what have you bought now".
Keep getting stronger and better my friend. So Bob and Paul you guy's are pulling for the Falcons, Right.

I think seeing a priority white box or a package in the mail is just as enjoyable as geting the contents within. :D It's all the more special when it contains a knife and words such as thouse given. Haha, I was just thinking how hard it is to keep a bad day going while opening a new knife. :)

Love that card!! :thumbup::D

That's a wonderful surprise! The card and the knife, especially as you had to sell your previous one. What's not a surprise is the esteem people hold you in Bob. That is heartwarming.
Thanks, Neal

Very thoughtful, guys. Good one on ya!

Enjoy the game, Bob. Wish I could say I would be cheering for the same team....;):p

You guys aren't alone, I always get that same question from the wife when any small packages show up addressed to me (even when I've already told her what I ordered). :D

Hope you enjoy the knife, Bob, and I really hope you get to feeling better!

Glad we could provide a little pick-me-up, Bob! Hope you can get a little stronger each day.
Ron said Pam approved of his choice of the card, and I can see why! Great card, Ron! :D:thumbup: I especially like how you assigned Barrett's name to "the big dog", since he dreamed up this little shenanigan! ;)
Bob, you're such a fixture on The Porch (at least in my time here) that it only seemed right that you have the most recent BF knife! I just hope we don't hear some crazy story about "Harness Jackgate" with a Super Bowl involving your beloved Patriots!

Bob, my reputation will never be the same associating with this bunch! I hope you are getting stronger each day. I hope you enjoy the knife my friend! That is a cool card if I do say so myself! :D

Bob, hope the knife arrived on a day where you're feeling better? I heard you were having a couple of tough days and glad this helped a bit.

Barrett, thank you for spearheading this:thumbup: I'm just so proud to be involved with such great people for a great person.

Bob I hope the Patriot video I text the other day lifted your spirits:D You're right by saying two great teams and organizations:thumbup: Now that said, I have to say...GO PATRIOTS:p Now get well for Sunday my friend:thumbup:

That's a great pick-me-up, right there! What a wonderful gift and sentiment, Bob. Great people on the porch!
