I was looking through a few old boxes today, and I stumbled across two knives that were my grandfathers that I thought I lost. Two old timers, one 104OT and a 108OT. Both in pretty good shape.

This is a picture of the two knives with a mug that my mother gave me that has a picture of my grandfather on it. He was a great man, and I'll remember him every day now.

Thanks fellas, I'm still feeling a bit euphoric about this. I had been looking around for the perfect ones to replace these, and now I don't have to!

I know that feeling. We had been looking for my Grandfather's knife for 20 years or more. My dad walked up to me last year and handed it to me! We finally had to move my grandma from living alone into assisted living at 98 years old. He found it when cleaning out the house.

I spent some time cleaning it out, fixing the blade play, and oiled up the joint, and touched up the edge. I carry it and think about my grandfather.

It's always a win to find knives you had forgot about, but even more special when they carry a connection like that.

It really made your day, I imagine. Thanks for sharing!
