There are a lot of people waiting for khukuris. I keep a waitlist for this but there is something you should all know about these lists. For each model with a waitlist there are actually two waitlists. One is for those who have prepaid and one is for those who will pay after delivery.

I give priority to those who have prepaid because of a personal quirk which is I don't like to hold a fellow's money. I actually discourage people from paying before they get the knife but some want to pay ahead of time and I can't refuse them. I hear so many horror stories about guys paying big bucks for a knife and then having to wait a year or two or three -- and sometimes never -- to get their knife. I hate those stories and try my best to avoid falling into that category.

This modus operandi may not be entirely correct but it is how I do it. In my own way of thinking it is fair. I hope all or at least most of you agree.

Khukuri FAQ

Hi Bill

Have the BAS's come in yet?
I have a backpacking trip just for it.

See you on the trail

Well, Uncle Bill, since you brought up the subject of wait lists, what's the status of the chiruwas?

Uncle Bill, I am expecting my Khukuri to arrive in the next day or so (and quite excited about it if I may say so *L*). I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a truly class act I think you are. I really appreciate your policy of non-payment until receipt and approval of the product. It just adds another reason for me to be glad that I came across your website and have chosen to get my Khukuri through you.
