I have been using this stuff on everything for a long time now. I recently found some and wrapped the center of my micarta handles on the BK2 and it was the most comfortable grip ever.

I went out today to get another pack in anticipation of the BK9 arriving monday. You can generally find a 3-pack at Wal Mart in the sporting goods section (Tennis stuff) for under $3.00. You'll be able to wrap at LEAST two handles per roll.

Will post pics of it on the knife later tonight.....

I'll be going by Walmart later, might as well pick some up. I know I'll wrap something with it. Thanks

Camo-form, I believe thats what it's called is also good. Same thing those brown medical brace/bandages are made from but with various camo patterns. Cheap too, like 6 bucks for 100 feet.

Works on firearms too, well other than the barrel, they make duracoat if you wanna be all tactical with a fully done rifle.

i want to put some of that on a crowbar i have :)

I've used that tennis racket tape for a tomahawk handle. It is very soft and nicely grippy.

Is that adhesive backed, or the kind of coated gauze that only sticks to itself? I Googled "wilson ultra grip" and the first link it a discussion where some tennis players loved it, and some hated it, said it slipped badly when their hands sweated. I guess at that inexpensive price it's worth trying for ourselves. Thanks for the tip.

I've tried the Tourna Grip on my Maglites, and that's worked out well.

No, this isn't adhesive, stretchy or anything like that. It feels like a good leathery-rubber grip. Depending of which end of it you use, you'll have to finish it off with a drop of super glue to itself. It is extremely comfortable and looks good, as opposed to using a bicycle inner tube or something like that. It's actually a grip, not just something people use as a grip.

If you get some I guarentee you will like it. It feels perfect on the Becker grip. And it's so cheap and easy to replace if you ever mess it up it's no big deal to replace.

After I had some surgeries to my abdominal area a year or two ago I got a couple Cold Steel canes (African Walking Stick/Irish Blackthorn) to help me get up and around. I wrapped the bottom 24% with this stuff and it didn't stand out, but if you wanted to you could flip that sucker over and beat the living hell out of something/one if you needed to. I've got it on my Gerber/Fiskars Brush Machetes with the long handles, and any knife/machete where I dont like the grip I cover it with this stuff and it makes it feel top-shelf.
