I agree!:cool: That is a beautiful interpretation by an American maker. I wonder if the maker forged the blade or used stock removal style? I will have to go back and read further.

That IS nice. Wish they had posted a pic of the spine. The filework looks interesting.

I wonder what it would feel like to use (if you could stand to), with the profile of the ring being rectangular, as opposed to triangular, like HI rings are.
 
Yeah Aardvark, the grip didn't look quite right, pretty enough but not functional.
The blade looks nice enough, I would have liked to see the spine too.
I wonder what the steel is and how the tmper was done?
