Early this year earlier, we had a post for our First arrivals.....It's always exciting to see what comes out.

Let's see if we can get some group shots of the year in full.

I don't think I'm buying anymore till January....haha?

It's a Svord VTG Von Tempsky Golok...it's a Beast!
Too Big actually.
Before this knife, idk there was such a thing as too big of a knife....ugh
 
That svord golock sure is imposing. I want one.

I think the majority of my knife purchases have been pocket knives this year. As far as fixed blades, i think i got four beckers and two aranyik “knives”. Maybe 4 folders and 7(?) traditional pocket knives. I wouldnt dare pull them all up and spread them out. At least, not while my wife is home....

Oh i like the thread idea. Though i repeatedly had to edit my becker numbers. Ive only been on the forum for a year and im surprised how many knives ive bought. I think this place may be a bad influence... but at least its the good kind of bad influence. I dont really want to look at how many other knives i have accumulated in this year alone. I hope to buy a few more before years end.

My knife purchases for the year got delayed a bit due to some firearm and ammo purchases, luckily before pre-covid. Trying to think back, I know I bought a few GECs and SAKs, another BK16 and another BK9, then there were some non-knife edged tool purchases. There are probably others I dont recall at the moment. Now I'm picking up various CS items which might disappear or may be turned into unusable fluff due to their sale.

I wondered if it was a svord - because it looked like the von tempsky bowie handle.

It's a distinctive look.
I didn't realize it at first, because I rushed this post with taking the pictures, and posting quickly....
I Should hurry up and use the second pic as our Xmas cards.....haha. It has a Christian undertone with the Von Tempsky center stage.....

Idk if it will get here in time, I might have to update my pic?

*I've wanted a 21 forever, and I'm seeing the market dry up. Normally I wouldn't be concerned, but I heard a rumor (probably not true) that it was going bye-bye..... With the slow down from covid in manufacturing I'm seeing them out of stock in more places than I feel comfortable.... or the price is skyrocketing.

So, I just bought one at a "fair" price.... Just in case? :/

Smart thinking, i should follow suit but probably wont until after the new year sometime. That fair/reasonable price seems to keep getting higher somehow.

I know....Right? Big Jumps too! Something that was $50 is now in the eighties.... Something that was around $120 is pushing two hundred..... Yup, No inflation what-so-ever

Knife prices seemed to have Jumped the last two years.

Ok, Ok......just one More..... I HAD to.
A certain smoldering peak, knife store had the cheapest price I've ever seen, when All the other stores wouldn't take my money.
