Charles Gedraitis is a young maker that I think will be one to watch. His knives seem to have an aura about them that reminds me of some of the best knives from folks like Rick Dunkerly, Steve Jernigan, Barry Gallagher or Wade Colter. He's young still and just getting started but if you look at what he's done so far, and what he has for sale today, you'll get an idea of what he can do. If todays product is an indicator, by the time this guy is 30 or so his name will be right up there with the best.

Here's a photo of one of his folders.

Wow, just started aye? That is very impressive. How long has he actually been making knives. That does not look like the knife of a beginner.

Jim,
thanks for the kind words, I have been making sheath knives for about 8 yrs but folders for only about a year and a half. I am trying to concentrate on folders now because of their challenge.
Thanks
Chuck

Good Lord Chuck, you have only beenmaking folders for a year and a half:eek:  That is a beautiful knife, to say the least. It looks like you have been making folders for a long time. Good job. Have you thought about posting your work in the Gallery(or having someone else doit)?

Chuck, I guess I will have to do some archive hunting:D Once again, nice looking work.

Here's another of Chuck's folders. This one with jigged bone scales.
