A Zing with a different blade shape

Is there such a thing?

I like almost everything about the Zing:
-- The size;
-- The manual opening and closing;
-- The Blur-style thumb studs AND flipper;
-- Liner lock;
-- And the Sandvik steel.

I especially like the version with G10 scales -- a great, moderately-priced folder!

Does Kershaw make anything with similar size and features but with a different blade shape? Not a Tanto or the grooved, striated, pointy blade. And not AO.

How about a manual folder with a 3-inch or under spear point or clip point blade?

Thanks for your quick replies.

I have Skylines (love them.)
They are US-made -- are you saying they are discontinued?:mad:

The Zing SS is a different animal. The steel is listed as bead-blasted 8CR13MOV. And I specified -- no AO.

Speedform II.

It's a over twice the price of the Zing, but worth it.

That is great looking and Kershaw will sell a boatload of those!

Kershaw rep says you can take out the AO rod and use it manually, so I will probably try it, even though I am not looking for more Chinese imports.

Flashpoint, specs are great on Speedform but it is even more of a pointy-dagger style blade that I don't want than the Zing.

More belly, wider blade, under 3-inches, is what I am looking for. And NO AO. Thanks.
