A100 mini

i looked on the emerson site the other day and found out they made the A100 in mini. has anyone seen one of these or owned one? any info on these is very apreciated

Yeah I'm wondering how this will compare to a cqc-7a.

The clerk at my local knife store told me that the mini's were one of the most popular lines and that we will probably see many knives go the mini route.

Yeah I'm really happy with the mini-cqc7 and the mini-cqc8 (horseman).

I don't really need another knife, but the mini A100 looks really cute, nice...will wait to see one in a video though as doubt I'll be able to see one in person.

They have a mini A-100 proto on bladeart.com just now, the handles not even twice the
size of the clip so it looks like it will be about the same as the mini-7 may be even smaller.

Its going to be a nice cute wee knife that one, give it a frame lock and a TK regrind and you could have a real winner :thumbup:

Yup, mini-7 is blade: 2.9 and overall 7.2
mini-a100 is blade: 3.0 and overall 7.2 based on emerson site

mini-7 is only available in b blade (tanto). Haven't ever held an A100 so not sure what it feels like against the normal sized cqc-7a or b.

Called EKI to find out about the Mini A-100 release date. Sometime in April. I was told that the satin stonewash finish will be replacing the hardchrome/teflon finish.:thumbup: About time!
