This little Hiker is the first 85% model in its style. This is going to be a great EDC. I'm very happy with how this sheath turned out too (shown without the clip or welt).

1/8" A2, and this puppy is thin. It will slice up a storm and hold that edge.
85% of my full-size drawings seems to be the magic number for a little EDC in my hands.

The wood is lightly figured Cherry, tru-oiled. it's a nice wood to work, similar to maple, but I was hoping it would darken up more. it was a toss-up between purpleheart and this stuff, and I wanted a lighter wood on this one for some reason.

I'll try to snap a picture in decent light tomorrow.

Wow, my mind is boggled:confused: I just ground out a similar blade in 1/8" 1084 last week, but with a clip point and possibly a shade bigger. Needless to say I like yours:thumbup:
