A2 Front Sight Replacement

So I'm rebuilding one of my AR's. It was formerly an A2 configuration. Basically the only thing that will be kept from the upper is the barrel, gas tube and bcg. Looking for suggestions on what to replace the A2 front sight with? The barrel is a 20" HBAR and I plan on running a free float hand guard of some sort and making it more of a range/target rifle. What gas blocks have you guys had success with?

DD, dremel the FSB, rainier, Vltor, BCM. Spend $50 on a quality piece from any reputable vendor.

If you just swap to a lot profil gas block, then you'll be able to see the hole in the barrel from when they drilled it for the pins on the post. If you run a tube over it, you may be able to see it, may not, may bother you, may not. If it does, just cut the tower off the post, round the edges a little, and krylon the modified post so it covers the shiny parts.

If you do swap, the ones mentioned above in addition to Troy and Fortis
