i have a Bark River Blackjack Kukri Pre-Prod. Prototype Knife it uses A2 steel, can anyone tell me how well this knife will hold up for chopping and clearing trails especially in humid climates. thank you

Your A-2 khukuri should hold up real well to chopping stresses. I'm quite envious of the fact that you have a khuk in A-2. Wish I had one as I'm thinkin' it'd be a butt kicking blade.

A-2 is totally unsuitable for a tropical climate. I, on the other hand live in Ohio, and I'll be happy to ease your pain by taking it off your hands. :D

Does it look like this one?

A2 Kuri in A2 sounds like a good idea to me. People complain about corrosion resistance, but it really doesn't matter if you take good care of your tools. I personally have no qualms at the end of each day using steel wool to clean rust off a knife :) because of the tradeoff (edge retention, toughness. etc)
