A2 or INFI? - DSF & Boss Jack

Hello, I am relatively new to this forum and just bought my first Busse last week. And just as it seems to be with all others here, I have the "bug" to go after my next one already. I will be using this knife - camping, light chopping, etc. Based on price, I have narrowed it down to these two knives:
TMDSF
Boss Jack

Here is the issue. Based on my research, I have found info that lists the DSF as being made of A2. And I believe the Boss Jack is INFI. Is this correct? Are newer production DSF's made of INFI? After all the INFI hype, should this be a major factor between the two?

Thanks for your help.

The first DSF, from about 20 years ago, may have been A2, but the new ones are INFI.

DSF's are all INFI. Early Busse's were made of A2. A2 is great but if I anticipate the potential for any hard use or pushing the envelope INFI is better. Enjoy. The DSF is a nice blade and both the DSF and BOSS Jack are going for pretty good prices these days.

All Busse are made of INFI from 2004 to now. Because in 2003, the Tali-Whackers was made from SR-101. But there was no A2 in a long time.

If you can find one made of A2 jump on it. That would be a real collector.

The A2 knives of earlier years are great. The steel performs great. It won't have the rust resistance of infi.

Busse has not used A2 for years. I would guarantee any desert storm fighter you find these days will be Infi. If it is not, it will be more expensive.

I think Dan meant exclusively. The Tali-Whackers broke the exclusivity of INFI since before the E handle series. I've not seen any non INFI Busse knives since the TW's.

INFI started with the SHBM, iirc there were a couple of knives that were non INFI in between it and the TW. A notable one would be the fillet knives in D2, anyone know if they pre date the SHBM?

No problem, :) I've been around so long, sitting on the porch and drawling about the good ol' days is about all I'm good for anymore. :p
