After receiving two knives from AA Forge, XL Bushcrafter and Muk, I thought I would take a moment to share my thoughts.

First, I'm a bit OCD about the fit and finish on any knife that's several hundred dollars. I wasn't disappointed. These knives are spot on with other makers in the same category. Makers like Adventure Sworn, Fiddleback, etc... I have knives from them all and I will attest to the AA Forge attention to detail.

Second, I can say that I have received knives which were more expensive than these that came lacking in the initial sharpness category. Not a blade from AA Forge. These two I received were shave ready, trust me, I shaved with both of mine.

Lastly, communication. Timely email replies to questions and inquiries are a business must. Many, many knife makers fall short in this area. Almost like their time is too valuable to take a moment every day to reply to customer emails. Yet, they certainly take our money quick enough.... Not AA Forge. Prompt, informative replays to my many emails. Comfort in the ordering process and seemingly genuine in his replies. You Sir have a great deal of respect for your customers, something which will keep your business moving forward. Only one caveat. Please offer a sheath with your knives. I do find it a terrible thing to have to wait months for some quality leather pants to adorn my new beauties. :p

Since stumbling across AA Forge knives, I am a proud owner of several. I would highly recommend his knives for any outdoor activity and am personally confident that mine will perform with out fail as they have to date done just that.

Just my two cents on a talented knife maker and wonderful person to deal with.

For what it's worth, I have no affiliation with AA Forge.

I echo what was just said. I've had my hands on so many custom knives and AA Forge's attention to detail, working designs, comfortable ergonomics and comes shaving sharp, was really impressive to me. My Grunt is one of my most untouchable and prized knives in my collection. It even my avatar. I really need to get another one.

Have two AA Forge beauties, along with many other fixed customs.

I heartily second all that was said above.

My purpose in the thread was to provide AA Forge a little free press. I would like his brand to see the attention it deserves. Thanks for the comments guys, keep em coming!

I have recently received a Bulldog and a Grunt and they are both beautifully made knives.
The Bulldog has an interesting shape but just feels great in hand with a high flat grind on 5/32" stock- it will be my hunting companion this season I believe.
The Grunt is just awesome with a lovely handle shape- I cant put it down.
Great work Adam.

I have owned two of his bushcrafters, both Osage. one in scandi and one in "standard" grind. loved these knives. kicking myself for letting them go. i'm watching Adam's For Sale page. Ohhh, i'm watching....
