Aaack! Wobble?

I took my anniversary EDC out of my pocket tonight and noticed that the blade is suddenly hitting the frame and has a little wobble. Side/side, not up/down. What happened? I didn't do anything unusual with it today -- just opened mail and whatnot. I've been carrying this knife since it came out last summer.

Is this an adjustment to make myself, or should I send this in to be looked at?

92 degrees,
Keep in mind that the EDC, like alot of modern frame lock and liner lock folders, is user adjustable for blade tension. Some people like the blade rotation very "stiff", some like it "loose" and fast. THis of course means that if the blade is "loose and fast" that you can have some blade "wobble". This can also just loosen up over time, as has seemed to happen in your case. It is a simple operation to tighten the pivot of your EDC to suit your personal taste. This is a feature of the knife. An allen wrench is all you need, just tighten the pivot to YOUR desired level of "tightness". The EDC has an rubber "O" ring under the pivot to help keep it from rotating loose as you use the knife, but I usually put a VERY SMALL dab of blue locktite on the threads of the pivot screw before I adjust it. Then let it sit for a few hours. This will help keep your knife adjusted to your level of "tightness" longer.

If you have any more question, or you are unsure of what to do, email me your phone # and I'll give you a call. Don't worry, we will adjust your knife for you if you want, but I think you will enjoy your knife more, if you learn to adjust it to YOUR desired tension. My email is...

Thanks guys. Now I feel like more of an idiot! I adjust pivots on lots of my folders, but I've never had one go loose all of the sudden. The wobble I understood, I was concerned there might be some other problem, like a bad washer or something hidden, which might cause the blade to hit the frame. I panicked, but I'll tighten everything up tonight and see what happens. Thanks again.
